With the help of a solar power storage system, up to 80 percent of the energy generated can be used for your own electricity consumption.

There are three different types of storage: lithium-ion battery storage, lead-acid battery storage and portable storage.


Lithium-ion battery storage

In contrast to lead batteries, lithium-ion batteries have a different charge carrier. When charging the memory, lithium ions "migrate" from the positive electrode to the negative electrode and remain stored there until the battery is discharged again. They are characterized by a high specific energy, no self-discharges occur, they have a longer service life, are significantly lighter and take up less space.


Lead battery storage

When charging lead-acid batteries, electrical energy is converted into chemical energy through the reaction of lead electrodes and sulfuric acid. When discharging, the stored energy is converted back into electrical energy. They can achieve high current levels in a very short time, are cheaper to purchase and are very robust, which means there are fewer maintenance costs.


Portable storage

Portable, portable power storage devices guarantee a reliable and flexible power supply, similar to a generator. The memories have a battery, inverter and charge controller and output different voltages (12 V, 230 V and USB). Coupling with a PV module enables self-sufficient power supply. However, they can also be charged via a mains plug.
